How many times have you purchased an item just because its on sale that you don’t need? I actually almost did the same thing while writing this blog post… Can you guess what I almost purchased? Sales are so dangerous! I definitely love to take advantage of sale but smart shopping is key. Here are a few tips for shopping sale and avoid impulse buying:
Before you start shopping any sale, check your closet. What do you really need? When I’m shopping sale in store, I always try on and take photos. If I can’t stop thinking about piece then to go back and if it is still available, it was meant to be!
When I am shopping online, I shop brands I know and I have a mission to only browse things I need. Stay focused! I hold the item in the cart and ask myself the same questions again.. do I need it?
And always check the return policy! There is nothing worse than buying online and it doesn’t work.

I can’t get enough of white button down shirts, so I always buy any with unique details. The cat in this Lilii Cat Button Down blouse is so cute, and polka dots are classic!
