When I wore these pieces from Frett’s line of slow-made luxury knitwear, it wasn’t just love at first sight. These sweaters will make you fall in love with everything that is Frett.
You know that moment when you receive a special package and the packaging itself is so special, you almost don’t want to open it?
I just had a moment like that this past week when I received three incredibly luxurious pieces from Israel-based slow-made luxury knitwear brand, Frett. Luckily, I did open the package. 🙂

Slow-Fashion Never Looked This Good
Frett is the creation of Meitar Karni-Zvik, who found her home in Tel Aviv after emigrating from South Africa. She studied textile design at Shenkar where she specialized in electronic knitting, and she went on to complete her Masters at the prestigious Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem. Her fine-tuned skills are more than evident in the way every Frett piece is impeccably crafted.
The idea behind Frett is unique as they lead the way for other slow-fashion brands that create high-quality design with environmentally-friendly, sustainable, and ethical standards.
In their own words, Frett defines slow-fashion as “a design and production process that acts independently of major industry timetables, preferring timeless design over passing trends, limited production over mass quantities, and ethical production over sweatshop contracting.”
Evolved Style That Goes With Everything
As you know, my personal style has evolved as have my priorities in life, and with that mindset shift comes a different type of wardrobe.
Frett’s unique knitwear line really meets my need for basic pieces that look and feel fabulous. The line may seem almost angelic from the color palette to the softness to the ethical production behind it, but these knitwear pieces are beyond indulgent, and they are perfect for any woman who appreciates quality as much as she does fashion. I love that I can take a Frett sweater and pair it with anything, like how I styled it here with this lace skirt by T&J Designs.
And remember when I mentioned the excitement I felt opening up the package Meitar sent to me? Well Frett’s packaging is EVERYTHING. If there ever was a brand whose packaging matched its design, Frett is it.
The Perfect Gift This Season
Everything about Frett is sensory, and in a really good way. From the unique packaging to the delicate details in the knitwear to the smell of the textiles. And that wool just feels so good, especially this time of year!
Frett is truly a special brand because it gives you a full sensory experience and is luxurious AND sustainable. I find that super refreshing.
I’ll probably be gifting a few of my dearest with some Frett pieces this holiday season…and I may just gift myself with some more, as well. I just can’t resist the luxurious textures of winter whites, and that kimono is just too much delicious perfection!
