I know I wrote a post about my hair routine and how I keep it fresh and fabulous for a whole week while only washing it once, back in April. But I want to give you all an update! As women, hair takes up so much of our time and is a big part of our look, so since I’ve made a few changes, I want to let everyone know what I’ve been up to.
A NEW HAIR STYLIST
A few months ago I checked my email and saw I had a message from someone I didn’t know — it was from an amazing stylist named Lindsey from Arsova Salon. I was a little hesitant at first because it can be hard to trust a new person, but then I looked her up on Instagram and loved her work! I instantly made an appointment and the rest is history!
Lindsey has now colored my hair and does most of my weekly blow outs! I love her! She’s so talented and does a fantastic job. I do have light hair, but Lindsey perfectly blends more blonde into my natural color.
My favorite thing to have Lindsey do though, is give me a blow out. She blow dries and creates my waves with a curling iron and I think it’s obvious she really knows what she’s doing! Not to brag of course. 😉 With a little bit of my favorite dry shampoo (only $3 for the travel size!) and a few up-dos, I can make this style last about seven days!
The rest of my weekly routine has basically stayed the same, but I had to share how great of a job Lindsey has done styling my hair. If you’re looking for someone fantastic, I highly recommend her and a few of my other favorites — Greg Pike from Dennis Bartolomei Salon, Alexa at Zazu and Monica from b. Salon .
Oribe is still my absolute go-to for hairspray (Lindsey uses it when she blows out my hair) and shampoo and conditioner, but I also like dpHUE.
I hope this is helpful if you’re looking for a new hair stylist in Chicago! I know it can be so hard to trust new people with your beautiful locks, but everyone I mentioned won’t let you down!
Great post gorgeous one! Xxx
Thank you love, love that we go to the same salon:) I am super excited to see you tonight!
