As a stylist part of my job is to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and styling ideas. Honestly, this is one of my favorite parts of working as a stylist! Well, in addition to working with my amazing clients. It’s safe to say I LOVE what I do! I often share my personal favorite pieces and trends but I thought it would be fun to share what I’m loving for clients this season, and give you a sneak peek into the work I do with my styling clients.
I’m incredibly grateful for my personal styling clients. Many of my clients have been with me for years and it’s been so much fun to be a part of their journey, as well as keeping them stylish along the way. Every day I work with clients I gain a boost of motivation and inspiration. Doing what I love and working with my clients is truly a dream!
Since many of my clients seek my assistance in keeping them stylish and up-to-date with trends, I always have my eye out for the best pieces. This fall there are so many amazing trends – I’m seriously in fashion heaven! But as with every season, I have a few favorite trends that I can’t get enough of.
Distressed Hem Denim
Interesting hems in denim has been a growing trend and I truly can’t get enough of if for my clients! We all have our classic, go-to denim looks but this trend takes skinny jeans to a new (stylish) level. It’s just enough detail to mix it up a bit, but still super versatile.
Booties
Booties are always a win in my book, I think every woman should own at least one pair. There are so many fun ways to wear booties, especially for the fall season in Chicago. This season there are so many fun bootie options. There’s really something for everyone, regardless of your style preferences.
Velvet
There’s something about velvet that feels so luxurious and stylish for the fall. Velvet is truly the perfect texture for fall and I’ve been loving adding stylish velvet pieces to my client’s wardrobes.
Updated Sweaters
Living in Chicago, sweaters are a must for fall and winter but this season I’ve been loving helping my clients to update their sweater looks. Classic sweaters are always a must but there are some stunning sweaters with interesting details and fits that add major style factor to any wardrobe.
Edgy Jackets
Jackets are a must for every woman’s wardrobe, especially during the fall! They’re the perfect piece to throw on to add major style to any look. Even if you’re just wearing a t-shirt and jeans, adding an edgy jacket will complete the look. I’m always on the hunt for the perfect jackets for my clients and this season it’s all about jackets with interesting details and a little edge to them.
Hats
Personally, I can’t get enough of hats and my clients feel the same way. Living in Chicago the weather changes quite often and hats a great way to deal with the weather. Plus, they’re a great way to fake a bad hair day in STYLE! Hats can really take a simple outfit to a whole new level.
