Denim is a wardrobe staple for every woman’s wardrobe, mainly because it’s so versatile. Growing up in Israel, where denim is a common wardrobe staple, I fell in love and made denim a part of my uniform for most of my life. I’ve always been a big fan of denim jeans but lately I’ve been incorporating other denim pieces into my wardrobe and I’m obsessed! My new mantra is the more the merrier when it comes to denim. Since I’ve been having so much fun styling denim I decided to share a few of my favorite ways to rock denim this season with you.
TRY A DENIM SHIRT
Ever since I purchased this denim shirt by Mother I’ve found countless ways to wear it. My denim shirt is sold out but I found this option that is similar. Shirts like this are perfect for casual wear and can be worn so many different ways. It looks great with other denim pieces, but you can also wear it with black skinny jeans or joggers for an athleisure look. I personally love a denim shirt with some distressing for some interesting details. If you’re not able to splurge on a denim shirt this is another great option by Lucky Brand.
WEAR DENIM WITH DENIM
While in NYC for a girl’s trip recently I purchased this pair of denim by Moussy. It was a new brand to add to my personal collection and they fit me like a glove right off the rack! I also really love Grlfrnd brand right now especially this denim and that denim. Naturally, I wanted to wear them right away so I decided to layer denim pieces together and it may be one of my new favorite combinations. Keeping my new mantra the more the merrier in mind! The key to wearing different denim pieces together is to choose different washes like I did here, the shirt is a light wash while the jeans are a darker wash. The contrast gives your denim a whole new look!
DENIM ACCESSORIES
Accessories, made of denim?! Yes! I’ve been following the incredible Israeli brand Blue Bell Denim for a while after immediately falling in love with the brand. FINALLY I was able to add one of their designs to my wardrobe. Blue Bell designs one-of-a-kind pieces using vintage Levi’s jeans that are turned into beautiful accessories. How amazing is that?!
