Ever since becoming a mom, I love finding clothes that are just as comfortable as they are stylish. Recently I got the most amazing pleated pants from fellow boss mama Sanem. Pleated pants are a big trend this season but I wanted a pair that was going to give me the comfort I need as a mom on-the-go. Let me tell you – I can’t get enough of them!
As if these pants couldn’t get any better, I’ve had so much fun styling them in so many different ways. Versatility is essential for every woman’s wardrobe, which is why I decided to share some of my favorite ways to wear pleated pants this season.
PAIR WITH PLEATS
While in NYC last week, I decided to style the pleated pants with my new favorite Tibi pleated top and I couldn’t get enough! Pairing a pleated top with pleated pants was such a fun look for daytime. The structure of the top with pants is so fun and easy to wear. I can’t get enough of the scallop sleeves on this top, it’s honestly my favorite top EVER. Of course, I chose the white version of the top it’s also available in yellow, navy and violet.
WITH A BOMBER JACKET
A bomber jacket is another great way to style pleated pants for spring. Especially those days that bomber jackets are a thing. Wearing a bomber jacket will give you a fresh look with the pants that’s perfect for the daytime. I love this satin bomber from Maje and this one from ASOS for this season.
ADD LEATHER
I love adding an edgy touch to looks. Since these pants are so flowy and feminine they pair perfectly with a leather jacket. Not to mention the shape of a leather jacket adds some structure to the look. Since it’s still been pretty chilly, I opted for this leather jacket with fur shoulders. My jacket isn’t available online but this is a similar style. If you’re not into the fur, this leather jacket is my all time favorite. But if you’re on a budget, this jacket is a great option. It’s modern and looks real! Pair this look with your favorite sneakers for an athleisure detail.
On the other note, I can’t stop thinking about these DITa sunnies! They are definitely on my birthday wish list. A good pair of sunnies is always the perfect finishing touch to any look.
