Last week I had the honor of hosting Veronica Beard’s fall collection event at Neiman Marcus. The evening was more than I ever could have imagined! It was filled with fashion, friends and so much fun. Everyone fell in love with the fall collection, every piece is absolutely amazing.
I have to give a special thank you to Neiman Marcus, Veronica Beard, my husband, daughter and everyone who attended. Hosting this event has been one of the highlights of my year!
OUTFIT OF THE NIGHT
Prior to the event, I had a chance to take a peek at the collection and try on quite a few of the pieces. I’ll be honest, it was really difficult to choose just one outfit to wear for the event but I couldn’t resist this skirt. Since it was still fairly warm in Chicago I wanted to take the opportunity to wear this beauty. The classic style of this skirt is one of my favorites but the button detail and velvet material create an elevated, timeless look.
Graphic tees are a staple in my wardrobe and I love any opportunity to style them in a dressed up manner, like I did paired with this skirt and blazer. I love the pop of red in this tee. The blazer is seriously a must have for every woman this season. Everything from the tweed material to buttons and silhouette are stunning. It’s the perfect blazer to wear from day-to-night. I wore this tee and blazer with jeans and loved the look just as much, you can see it in this post.
THE NEW CLUTCH
I can’t forget to mention the bag I used the night of the event. I’ve received so many questions about it! It’s by a local Chicago designer, BrennaB. The design of this bag is so unique and perfect to use for a night out. It’s a clutch and cuff in one, attached by a connector. Talk about innovate, right? It’s my new go-to bag anytime I’m heading out for the night and don’t want to carry a big bag.
