I was going through my archives and had a realization… I have never written about my love for leather. And that is so crazy to me because it is a must have for any wardrobe. It will add the perfect amount of edge to any outfit. Every time I’m styling a client, they always leave with a new leather item! Once you realize how easy it is to implement leather into your wardrobe, you will be hooked, just like me!

Leather is so versatile because there are so many options to choose from. There are pants, jackets, vests, skirts, you name it, it exists! In addition to those options, there is even vegan leather.
HOW TO STYLE A LEATHER JACKET
Every styling session, this is the first thing I make sure my clients have! Especially in fall/winter, a leather jacket is the most stylish way to add layers and warmth to your look. One of my favorite ways to style it, is by mixing it with a feminine outfit. For example, if you wear a skirt and a feminine blouse with a leather jacket tossed over your shoulders, it will create the perfect combination of edgy and feminine! For a new business casual look, instead of reaching for that cardigan or a blazer try a leather jacket. Just wear it over a white button down and you are ready to go! Leather pants are the next must haves! Pair it with a graphic tee and boots for a serious fashionista moment. Want to dress up your graphic tee even more? Pair it with a leather skirt for an outfit that works from morning to night. One of the most fun parts of fashion is getting to play around and mix different textures. Everything has to balance and play off each other! I use this rule all the time. For instance, try smooth leather with fun fringe and soft suede for a layered, dimension look.
